Amano japonica, scientifically known as Caridina multidentata. Amano shrimp are constantly grazing  on plants, wood, rocks, and glass making them ideal for algae prone tanks

 

Amano shrimp are hardy and adapt to a wide range of conditions, recommended parameters are Temperature: 20–26°C  pH 6.5–7.5 GH (General Hardness) 5–15 dGH KH (Carbonate Hardness) 2–8 dKH (0–10 dKH TDS 150–300 ppm Ammonia 0 ppm Nitrite0 ppm Nitrate Below 20 ppm
