The Bamboo Shrimp (Atyopsis moluccensis) is native to South and Southeast Asia. It is a peaceful filter feeder that catches food from the water column with its fans. Also known as the fan shrimp, filter shrimp, Singapore flower shrimp or wood shrimp. It is much larger than Cherry Shrimp and grows to around 8 to 9 cm. It is safe with fish that will not eat it. It does best in a mature tank with good water flow.
