Endler Guppy (Poecilia wingei)

Add a splash of colour and movement to your aquarium with the Endler Guppy. These small, lively freshwater fish are known for their striking colour combinations and intricate patterns. Native to Venezuela, they grow to approximately 2.5 to 4.0 cm and suit planted aquariums.

Males are smaller and slimmer, with bright orange, green, blue and black patterns and a large, colourful tail for their size. Females are larger and fuller-bodied, usually silver, grey or subtly coloured, with a rounded abdomen when carrying fry and a dark gravid spot near the rear of the abdomen.

Endlers breed readily, so consider population management when keeping mixed-sex groups. Provide a mature, well-filtered aquarium with stable water conditions, a varied diet and plenty of plants or cover.
