The Green Neon Rasbora (Microdevario kubotai), also known as the Kubotai Rasbora and previously known as Microrasbora kubotai, is a tiny, peaceful shoaling fish from Thailand and Myanmar. It naturally lives in calm to moderately flowing, well-oxygenated streams with clear water, aquatic plants, driftwood and leaf litter. Adults reach approximately 2 cm and are yellow-green with a metallic gold stripe along the body and clear fins.

Hiding places for shrimplets: Cover reduces the risk to shrimplets, so we do not describe these fish as 100% safe with them. Dense moss such as Flame moss or Christmas moss, floating plants, a layer of leaf litter and driftwood, and rocks with moss attached all give shrimplets somewhere to hide and graze.
