Green Babaulti (Caridina babaulti) shrimp come in a variety of colours and adapt to their surroundings. Body colour can change with lighting, substrate, sex, breeding season and age. The most typical appearance is a grass-green body with horizontal stripes on the gill covers. The longer, serrated rostrum sets them apart from Neocaridina.
