Melanopsis buccinoidea sp "Purple Haze" belongs to the tower lid snails and has a short, squat dark shell, which has a purple shimmer depending on the incidence of light.
Dispensing size: Surrender animals have a minimum height of 1 cm.
General information on keeping and reproduction: Representatives of the Purple Haze snail have already been discovered in (often fast-flowing) waters of Jordan, Lebanon, Cyprus and southern Turkey. Due to this distribution area, temperatures between 20 °C and 30 °C are no problem for these animals. The Purple Haze can reach a maximum size of 4 cm. Reproduction in the aquarium is simple, but the animals are of separate sex. There is therefore no need to fear mass reproduction as with other species (such as the bladder snail).
